As President of Levrieri Piemonte, together with my vice-president Arianna Sopegno, I am delighted to announce the start of a fruitful and lasting partnership with Candy’s Hound Rescue. I connected with Kerry Hill through a mutual friend, and we immediately hit it off, united by a shared goal: rescuing sighthounds wherever they may be in the world. This collaboration combines Kerry’s hands-on experience rescuing greyhounds and whippets from the dog meat trade with my own work in Ireland, Spain, and Romania saving ex-racers and hunting dogs. By joining forces, we will offer a chance at a new life to dogs that were once on the brink of death. Through this agreement, we will enable both existing and new adopters to open their homes and hearts to these gentle, vulnerable souls, while ensuring transparency, integrity, and professionalism—the principles that guide our decisions. I am proud to embark on this new journey, which promises to bear great fruit. This synergy will allow us to respond even more effectively to the needs of those who are exploited, mistreated, and killed. This project marks another small step forward in our growth. I trust that our supporters will stand by us, as always, to help this collaboration flourish and achieve great results. I invite you all to share our adoption posts so that the first Whippets can soon arrive in Italy. Thank you in advance for your support.
